1- Why am I Buying?

A study by the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University revealed four top reasons Americans buy a home, all of which have nothing to do with money:

  • A good place to raise children and for them to get a good education

  • A place where you and your family feel safe

  • More space for you and your family

  • Control of that space

  • What does owning a home mean to you outside of financial gain?

2- Where are the Home Values Headed?

CoreLogic predicts a 4.7% increase on homes from December 2016 to December 2017 so a home valued at $250,000 would be increased by an additional $11,750 by the end of the year.

3- Where are the Mortgage Rates Headed?

Long term costs are truly important to keep in mind.
