LIVING HISTORY: 1ST OREGON VOLUNTEER CAVALRY

(July 4th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Help commemorate the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War by joining costumed re-enactors at the historic Fort Vancouver as they portray members of the Civil War-era 1st Oregon Volunteer Cavalry. There are several dates this year to participate in this Living History celebration. Activities may include black powder demonstrations, mounted and dismounted cavalry drills, encampments, and and scouting formations from the Civil War era in the Pacific Northwest. This is a FREE event and is a great opportunity to experience the past. Click here to learn more!
