Autism Awareness walk Oregon













April is Autism Awareness Month!!!

1 in 68 children in America are on the Autism Spectrum and the numbers keep getting larger and larger.

The Autism Society of Oregon has really outdone themselves this year!  Join them at one of these 4 events and help support autism awareness and raise money for research and resources for families.

Color the Coast for Autism

Saturday April 9th  

Kamp grounds Of America in beautiful historical Astoria Oregon. 

Activities including live music, mini-golf, bounce pillows, indoor rec room, sensory tables and more.

Fun starts up at 10:00 am. 

Run/Walk (5k) at 11:30 am. 

*The KOA  is offering free stay in cabins, tent or RV sites April 8th and 9th for registered participants. (some restrictions apply, contact the Autism Society of Oregon for details)

Autism  Awareness Walk 

Sunday, April 17th

Oaks Amusement Park in SE Portland Oregon. 

There is going to be a lot of activities this year!  Face painting, magicians, sensory area, gluten-free food sampling, autism awareness merchandise, community recourse exhibitors and even a quiet area! (The walk is fully paved and accessible.)

Fun starts at 9:00 am

Walk starts at 10:45 am

 Registration: Adults-$15 Children-$12 Under 2-Free

*Oaks Park Deluxe Ride Bracelet-$13 (Rides start at 11:30)

Color the Blues for Autism

Saturday April 30th at the Max Square in La Grande Oregon.

So many fun things to do!  There will be face painters, crafts, bounce house, sensory tables, autism awareness merchandise and community resource tables.

Fun starts at 11:00 am

Walk starts at 12:00 am

Registration: Adults-$12 Children-$9 Under 2-Free

*Prices increase after April 7th

Central Oregon Autism Awareness Walk

Saturday, May 7th

Highland Baptist Church in Redmond, OR

This fun filled event will have raffles, face painters, crafts, bounce house, sensory table, gluten-free food samples, community resource tables, a silent auction, multiple entertainers, oh ya and Snoopy and Tigger!! 

Fun Starts at 10:00 am

Walk starts at 11:30 am

Registration: Adults-$14 Children-$11 Under 2-Free

*A generous free lunch provided (donated by Food for Less)
