Fruit Valley
Fruit Valley is both the westernmost and largest neighborhood in Vancouver in land mass. This is where you can find the Port of Vancouver, Vancouver Lake, Shillapoo Natural Area, Ridgefield Wildlife Sanctuary, Firestone Farm Orchards, and approximately 1000 households. Industrial attractions include West Coast Metal Shredding and the Great Western Malting Company.
Just a short distance from Downtown Vancouver and Vancouver Lake, Fruit Valley is the perfect option for those looking for a residential neighborhood that is close to outdoor activity. Parks and recreation include two city parks, two county parks, and a wildlife area. Fruit Valley also maintains Vancouver’s largest set of World War II housing. The city is also looking in to building a 7,000 square foot community commerce center.
Schools in the area include Felida Elementary School, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, and Columbia River High School.
