The holiday season is my absolute favorite time of the year, and one of the BEST things about living in the Pacific Northwest is designated seasons and good ole American holiday tradition.

Whether you like to attend pub crawls with friends or take the family out on a spontaneous holiday adventure, there is definitely something fun to do for everybody.

Hometown Holidays

Hosted and organized by the City of Camas, Hometown Holidays happens on First Friday, December 4th, 2015. A beloved tradition! Photos with Santa, crafts, lighting the Christmas tree, hay rides, Camas Schools entertainment, food & refreshments. All of the event activities are free.  The tree-lighting happens at 6:30pm sharp; you don’t want to be late! A BIG surprise awaits! For more details- Click here

Christmas Ships

Camas / Washougal

6:00 PM - The Fleet assembles in front of Port of Camas/Washougal and parades in the area for about an hour. The fleet will return to the Camas/Washougal docks and then parade back to Portland along the Washington side arriving in Portland shortly after 9:00PM.  In the area of the James M Gleason boat ramp, the boats will head for their moorages along the Columbia River. Take a one-hour ride along the Willamette River and meet Santa on the decorated Holiday Express train, which leaves the station at 7805 SE Oaks Park Way.

Enjoy 50 bold winter ales at Holiday Ale Festival in heated tents at Pioneer Courthouse Square (701 Southwest Sixth Avenue, Portland, OR 97204) for age 21+.
