Possibilities

For the most part buyers have no intention of buying something unless they can make it their own. What is the point of owning a home, where memories are made, where life is lived, if it isn’t a representation of who you are. From the type of rug you put in the entry way to the light fixtures, to the color scheme transitions from the living room into the kitchen, the beauty of owning your own home is the ability to customize it the way you always wanted. Add the optimism of ANY show on HDTV and most buyers are ready to tackle any house, any job and any fixer. But just because a house isn’t falling apart doesn’t mean that you can’t remodel is to make it your own, put your personal touch and intense love into it.

The best example I have encountered is a client of mine named Ed that bought a house in November 2015. The house wasn’t falling apart, it wasn’t even a “fixer”, but Ed saw the potential to make it his own. So he rolled up his sleeves and took an average, nice house and is currently making it into something beautiful and something he is proud to own and call home.
