Recycling Block Foam and Old Electronics Collection On January 3, 2015
Clark County residents can start the year out by recycling clean block foam from holiday presents from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at C-Tran’s Fisher’s Landing Transit Center, 3510 S.E. 164th Ave. The event, which is free to all county residents, will accept clean, white block foam, which is often marked with a recycling symbol and the number 6.
Used electronic equipment also will be accepted at the Jan. 3 event. Working electronic equipment no more than five years old is preferred, but nonfunctioning and obsolete equipment will be accepted. Microwave ovens and cathode ray tube televisions and computer monitors will not be accepted.
