Purge, Purge, Purge

Take a look at your wardrobe, collectibles, etc and ask yourself, do you have room for it in your new place?  Do you want this item? Are you just hanging on to it "because"?  It is OK to let items go, really!

That's A Wrap

Start collecting boxes; as soon as you know you're moving, gather boxes, if you think you have enough, get some more

Purchase strapping tape and chisel tip permanent markers ijn a few different colors

Look at purchasing bubble wrap in bulk (be careful with using newspaper as the ink has the potential for staining items)

Tape cords, remotes, and electronic components to their mate

Hey, Have You Seen................?

Use a different colored marker for labeling boxes for each room of the house; blue for bathroom, black for kitchen, red for living room, etc)

If you're packing items you know you'll need immediate use of when you arrive, slap some patterned duct tape or stickers on the box so it stands out

Number your boxes and list what goes in so you can easily track down items

Keep an eye out for more moving tips in the future.  Have a great day!
