Discover The Beauty And Convenience Of Woodland Washington
Just 20 miles north of Vancouver, WA sits one of the oldest communities in the state of Washington. Woodland WA, which was incorporated in 1906 and had 5500 residents (according to a 2010 US census), is the primary gateway to Mt. St. Helens and the Lewis River/Yale Lake recreational areas. Portions of Woodland lie in both Clark and Cowlitz County.
The city manages approximately 40 acres of park land. There is also a skate park at the end of Horseshoe Lake. Citizens can reserve the large shelter at the 6.5 acre Horseshoe Lake Park and the community center. Plus, there are other small facilities available as well. Another popular attraction is the Hulda Klager lilac gardens. Being right along I-5 provides easy access to Longview, the Portland Metro Area, Vancouver, casinos in La Center, and fishing/boating/camping around Yale Lake.
Woodland is the perfect spot for those looking for a small town that is surrounded by restaurants, hotels, entertainment, outdoor activities, and other amenities.
